Jazz & Limbering

Jazz and limbering work really well together, starting with a full body conditioning workout to build strength & stamina. Corner work improves our dance vocabulary with steps such as leaps, kicks and turns. These steps are put together to make combinations and are put into the jazz syllabi.

A long stretch at the end of the class helps lengthen all the muscles and loosen the joints while working on splits, tilts and scorpions.

​

Combined with elements form Pirouette and Leap surgery -the science of Turning and Elevation and applying it to dancing, Kings Students can utilize these methods in all other classes.

​

Our most popular class of the week, Jazz and Limbering go hand in hand with ballet and modern, and enhance the training they receive in these genres. Our classes are all done to chart and classic pop music.
